About

MedMeditations

MedMeditations offers thoughtfully crafted, guided therapeutic experiences created by a Doctor of Physical Therapy and yoga teacher. Each practice is informed by modern neuro pain science and a deep respect for the intelligence of the body.

These sessions are shaped by principles used in physical therapy and rehabilitation. They reflect an understanding of how the brain and nervous system influence pain, stress, movement, and healing. Drawing from techniques such as guided imagery, graded motor imagery, progressive muscle relaxation, breath regulation, and gentle interoceptive awareness—each practice is designed to help you feel safer and more connected within your body.

This is meditation through a rehabilitation lens.

Rather than focusing only on relaxation, MedMeditations supports the nervous system in learning that it is safe to soften. The approaches woven into these practices are the same principles used in rehabilitation settings. They are evidence-based and help people gradually feel more at ease in their bodies during pain, recovery, or prolonged stress.

The intention behind this work is simple. To offer a steady place to pause. To bring together science and presence in a way that feels grounded and accessible. To support a different relationship with the body—one rooted in curiosity rather than urgency.

No diagnosis or prior meditation experience is needed. Just a willingness to begin where you are.
